NAPA presents at Heritage’s Future of Roads

NAPA President & CEO Audrey Copeland presented on sustainable infrastructure during a session titled “Paving the Road Forward,” as part of The Heritage Group’s Future of Roads event held Feb. 27 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Copeland discussed reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) and how it fits into the asphalt pavement industry’s sustainability and net zero goals, as well as the need for infrastructure funding. She also encouraged attendees to engage with their lawmakers to help them understand the industry, either on their own or through events like the Transportation Construction Coalition (TCC) Fly-in or Hill Days in the fall.

NAPA Vice President for Government Affairs Nile Elam also attended the event, where other themes centered on innovation and worker safety.
