Producers sought for Advisory Council roles

Nominations are open for the NAPA Advisory Council State Advisors.

NAPA is seeking Producer members to renew or join the council as State Advisors in 17 states: Idaho, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, and Rhode Island.

Service begins Jan. 1, 2025. All nominations must be submitted by Monday, Sept. 30.

Key Points to Know

Role of State Advisors: Represent the interests and concerns of the asphalt pavement industry within your state. Review reports and support advocacy initiatives. Provide valuable insights and recommendations to the Board of Directors.

Eligibility Criteria: Broad knowledge of the asphalt pavement industry’s operating environment. Commitment to advancing NAPA’s programs, events, and strategic goals. NAPA Producer members in good standing.

Term Length and Limitations: Serve a three-year term, beginning on Jan. 1, 2025. Eligible for renewal via reelection. NAPA will hold annual elections with approximately one-third of State Advisors eligible for election/reelection each year.

Election Process: Nominations accepted until close of business on Monday, Sept. 30.

Verification: NAPA staff will review nominations for eligibility.

Voting: Authorized Representatives of Producer member companies will vote through a secure online platform in October.

Results Announcement: Within two weeks after voting closes.

Orientation and Onboarding: Newly elected members will participate in a required in-person orientation session during NAPA’s Annual Meeting in February 2025.
