Asphalt pavement professionals from all over will gather in Alabama May 7-9 for the Test Track Conference, which marks the end of a three-year research cycle at the Test Track located at the National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT) at Auburn University.

Presenters will share groundbreaking research from the latest cycle of accelerated pavement testing at the 1.7-mile oval track made up of experimental sections sponsored by highway agencies and the transportation industry. The two-and-a-half-day event showcases advancements in the design, construction, technologies, and maintenance of more sustainable and longer-lasting asphalt pavements from across the country.

NAPA’s Engineering, Research, and Technology team is set to participate in the multi-day event, which will feature sessions led by NCAT’s world renown faculty on topics from balanced mix design (BMD) and pavement preservation to open graded friction courses and life cycle assessments. Attendees will also take part in tours of NCAT’s facilities, including the Test Track and Lee Road 159.
