Midyear kicks off with NCAT announcement

The first full day of the NAPA 2024 Midyear Meeting in Brooklyn, New York kicked off with a major announcement: The NAPAREF Road Scholars program raised in excess of $2.6 million for pavement studies graduate students at the National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT) at Auburn University.

Committee meetings and Regional Advisory Councils tackled challenges, while micro sessions focused on topics from work zone safety and the future of the Asphalt Pavement Alliance to a Town Hall discussion with the Department of Energy.

Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (NY-R), who represents areas of Brooklyn and Staten Island, addressed the Political Advocacy Membership, while the NAPA PAC closed out the evening with its reception featuring prizes and trivia.
