AAPTP survey aims to identify innovations for airfields

The Airport Asphalt Pavement Technology Program (AAPTP) launched a survey to identify innovations that could improve airfield pavement design, construction, and performance.

The survey from AAPTP, a cooperative agreement effort between NAPA and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), is part of its study on advanced asphalt technologies with strong potential for airfield pavement applications.

Through the survey, industry professionals are invited to identify promising innovations from highways or other sectors that could improve airfield pavement design, construction, and performance.

The survey takes 10 to 15 minutes, and all responses will remain confidential.
