NAPA, APA staff to serve on TRB committees
Following the Transportation Research Board (TRB) announcement in June that it would be sunsetting its committee structure, volunteers were sought to help implement the new, streamlined structure.
Three NAPA staff members and the Asphalt Pavement Alliance’s Buzz Powell were offered roles on committees. Powell will serve as a member of the Standing Committee on Pavement Maintenance, Preservation, & Rehabilitation (AKN 18).
NAPA Pavement Engineering & Innovation Director Jean-Paul Fort will be a member of the Standing Committee on Construction Quality Assurance (AKJ 13), while Senior Director for Engineering & Technical Services Brett Williams will serve on the Standing Committee on Asphalt Pavement Materials (AKN 11).
NAPA Vice President for Engineering, Research, & Technology Richard Willis will serve as Chair of the Standing Committee on Flexible Pavement Design & Construction (AKN 12).
