Nominations for the Asphalt Pavement Alliance’s (APA) prestigious Perpetual Pavement Awards are accepted annually from Aug. 1 through Oct. 15.

Herold Road in Braxton County West Virginia (pictured at right) won a 2024 Perpetual By Performance Award for the West Virginia Division of Highways. Herold Road, also known as County Road 40, first opened to traffic in 1975.
