Hill Day webinars offer advocacy tips ahead of event
When NAPA and its trade association partners come together in September for Hill Day, programming will offer members talking points, tips, and topics to make the trip to Capitol Hill a success.
Register to attend Hill Day.
But for those looking to get a sneak peek at what awaits them in Washington, D.C. Sept. 17-18, there are two opportunities for virtual learning that will help returning advocates and first-timers to get the most out of their visit to the nation’s capital.
The Hill Day “Know Before You Go” webinars kick off Aug. 28 with Hill Day 101, aimed at new attendees, while the policy-heavy Hill Day Prep and Issue Review Webinar is set for Sept. 3.

In Hill Day 101, attendees will dive into the basics of advocacy and learn strategies to have an impactful meeting on Capitol Hill. All first-time Hill Day participants (or anyone who wants an advocacy refresher) are encouraged to to attend this webinar.
In the Hill Day Prep webinar, presenters will break down the logistics of your in-person meetings: how to access your schedule, meet your team, and prepare. The session will also provide the latest news on the state of play in Congress as well as an overview of the talking points and strategies to be an effective advocate for your business and the roadbuilding industry.
The August recess is a great time to reach out to your Member of Congress about a future tour at your plant or jobsite.
