AIEI webinar series starts Nov. 6

AIEI (Asphalt, Innovate, Enlighten, Implement) experts will explore upcoming changes to asphalt binder specifications in a series of webinars kicking off Nov. 6 and wrapping up the first week of December.

Understanding Revisions to the PG Asphalt Binder Specification is designed for professionals seeking concise, research-based insights into upcoming changes to the Superpave Performance Graded asphalt binder specifications.
The Asphalt Institute’s Mike Anderson will lead each session, aimed at examining the evolving role of asphalt binders in fatigue performance, the findings from NCHRP 09-59, and the expected impacts of these proposed revisions on testing and implementation. The Federal Highway Administration’s Tim Aschenbrener will moderate each of the three webinars, which will all begin at 3 p.m. ET.
Nov. 6 Part 1 – The Role of Asphalt Binders in Fatigue Cracking
Nov. 20 Part 2 – NCHRP 09-59 Research and Proposed Revisions to the Binder Fatigue Parameter
Dec. 4 Part 3 – NCHRP 09-59 Research Recommendations and Expected Impacts
This webinar series will provide valuable insight into how current research is shaping the future of asphalt binder specifications and testing practices. For additional information contact Tim Aschenbrener.
