NCAT webinar to explore IRI, texture data collection

The National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT) will continue its From Research to Implementation Webinar Series on Thursday, Feb. 19 with an exploration of the International Roughness Index (IRI) and texture data on asphalt pavement conditions.

Everett Schmitz with Pathway Services will join NCAT’s Grant Julian for IRI and Texture Data Collection on Asphalt Pavements at 11 a.m. ET.

The discussion will center on high-speed collection of IRI and texture data on asphalt pavement conditions and how these data are used to monitor pavements at NCAT’s Test Track facility and on highways.

The second installment of the Webinar Series in 2026, these virtual learning sessions are now free to all.
