In Savannah, attendees heard about their role in shaping the future of leadership and advocacy in the asphalt pavement industry. NAPA’s Nile Elam moderated a panel that included NAPA Board Chairman Pat Nelson with Lehman-Roberts, a Granite Co., Vice Chair Jay Lemon of Haskell Lemon Construction Co., and Second Vice Chair Jason Duininck of Duininck Inc.
The session with NAPA national officers offered insight into the discussions and leadership lessons found within the C-Suite as well as in the halls of power, and how personal relationships factor more in creating a successful work culture than it seems.
Other sessions explored artificial intelligence, leading with intention, and the importance of building authentic relationships.

Programming breaks and scheduled tours of the city, as well as a tour of the C.W. Matthews asphalt plant, allowed attendees to get the most out of their Savannah experience.
Participants also took to the court for pickleball, bringing beginners and veteran players alike together to learn and master the newest sport sweeping the nation.
