Producer voices sought for session on technology adoption

Technology adoption looks different for every asphalt producer. Some are early adopters, others are cautious—and many are still figuring out where to start.
This July, NAPA is hosting a contractor‑led panel discussion designed to surface honest, real‑world perspectives on what technology adoption actually looks like inside asphalt companies—and we’re looking for producer volunteers to participate.
Flipping the Script: Real Conversations About Technology Adoption in Asphalt
📅 Wednesday, July 15
⏱ 60 minutes
This session is about learning from peers and advancing a more realistic, transparent conversation about technology in asphalt. We hope you’ll consider adding your voice.
This approach will “flip the script” on traditional technology presentations by placing contractors—not technology providers—at the center of the conversation. Producers representing different stages of adoption will take part in a moderated, on‑stage workshop led by a NAPA Associate member.
Rather than selling solutions, the conversation will focus on:
- Why producers choose to adopt—or delay adopting—technology
- Barriers such as cost, culture, trust, and change management
- Lessons learned, including what worked and what didn’t
- What panelists wish they had known earlier
Who should participate?
NAPA is seeking asphalt mix producers across the technology adoption curve—from early adopters to more hesitant adopters—who are willing to share candid, experience‑based insights. You do not need to be a technology expert to participate.
Interested? Email Ester Magorka by Monday, April 6. Include a brief note describing your role and your organization’s approach to technology adoption.
