Highways & Transit Subcommittee to Hold Feb. 15 Hearing on Buy America

On Thursday, February 15, at 10:00 am Eastern, the House Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure Subcommittee on Highways & Transit will hold a hearing, “Implementation of Buy America Provisions: Stakeholder Perspectives,” focused on the Biden Administration’s implementation of Buy America provisions, including updates prescribed by IIJA.

Witness testimony and a link to the live webcast will be posted online as it becomes available.

NAPA Board member Brian Enders (pictured), Vice President, Walbec Group, is scheduled to testify along with:

• Carlos M. Braceras, P.E., Executive Director, Utah Department of Transportation, on behalf of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO)
• Ty Edmondson, Chief Executive Officer, T. A. Loving Company on behalf of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC)
• Dan Needham, Executive Vice President of Commercial, Nucor Corporation
• Megan Salrin, Legislative Representative, United Steelworkers (USW)
