Coming March 12: Electrified roadways webinar
A multi-agency effort to share the latest in electrified roadways culminates March 12 with a webinar led by experts from ASPIRE.
The Electrified Roadways webinar will begin at 2 p.m. ET.
A National Science Foundation (NSF) Engineering Research Center since 2020, Advancing Sustainability through Powered Infrastructure for Roadway Electrification (ASPIRE) will examine three case studies during its free webinar. Don Linford and Regan Zane of ASPIRE will be joined by Amir Golalipour of the Federal Highways Administration (FHWA) and other speakers, including representatives from the Indiana and Michigan departments of transportation.
The webinar will also feature a discussion of future plans for a FHWA peer exchange centered on the electrified roadways, and a question-and-answer period.
