Free work zone training available from NAPA
CrewSafety: Work Zone Training offers occupation-specific training for roadside safety
NAPA’s internal traffic control program is available for free to help supervisors, roadside workers, truck drivers, and equipment operators to prioritize safety in work zones.
Ensuring workers are safe and go home at the end of their shift can start with training, and Crew Safety: Work Zone Training represents NAPA’s effort to highlight the role each employee has in preventing safety lapses from the C-suite to the paving seat.
The web-based training, hosted in partnership with the American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA), can be used on any device and contains safety information specific to asphalt road construction activities. Different bundles are available based on job activity, but each module begins with the fundamentals course, called NAPA Internal Traffic Control Fundamentals.
