Introducing the New NAPA Resource Center: Go.AsphaltPavement.org/Resources.
Starting now, finding, viewing, and downloading NAPA resources is easier than ever. And, for the first time, they’re all free.
Our strategic plan compels us to lead, grow, and connect the asphalt pavement industry. While there are many ways NAPA does that, our technical publications and resources are vital for sharing expertise and know-how, research findings and recommendations, and best practices that help producers and pavers continually improve operations. These resources are respected among members, nonmembers, academics, students, researchers, and agencies.
That’s why NAPA invested in a new, easy, and free way to access them. Openly sharing this knowledge advances the asphalt pavement industry, while vastly improving how you interact with our website.
What’s in the New Resource Center?
To begin, we migrated useful PDFs from our online store to the new Resource Center. You’ll find well over 100 documents on topics ranging from compaction to community relations. Next, we’re making recorded webinars easier to find and view by adding them to the Resource Center too. (As of September 2023, NAPA no longer fulfills print publications – except the ever-popular Hot Mix Asphalt Materials, Mixture Design and Construction textbook [TB-1], which must be purchased through our store.)
How to Use the New Resource Center
The new Resource Center streamlines how you find, view, and download the resources you seek.
Here’s how:
1. Visit Go.AsphaltPavement.org/Resources.
2. Peruse the items shown or use the filters to narrow your search. Use any or all of the filters to update results in real time. Filters include keyword, resource type (format), and topic, along with the option to sort by date, title, or publication number.
3. See an item that interests you? Click the arrow (or anywhere on the item ‘card’) to view more.
4. You’ll see a brief summary of the item, along with a short form. Complete the form for immediate access to the item. That’s it!
Want to search/download more resources?
Simply return to Step 1. When you get to Step 4, you’ll notice the form is shorter and quicker to complete!
Want to get notified whenever we upload new resources?
Just enter your email in the subscription box in the bottom. (Note, however, we’re still actively migrating webinars, which may result in a temporarily high number of notifications.)
The Latest, Not the Last, Improvement
Launching this Resource Center is the latest in a string of communication improvements we’ve introduced this year, beginning with the publication of the award-winning NAPA 2024 in January – improvements that result from putting Your Feedback in Action. So, what can you expect next?
