In an ever-evolving industry of road construction and mineral processing, Wirtgen Group’s commitment to quality, efficiency, and sustainability continues to show through its products and innovation in technology to help meet increasing demands on the job.
Wirtgen Cutting Technology:
Wirtgen remains the market leader in cutting technology with high-performance cutting tools. These cutting tools have been carefully designed to meet the needs for different jobs through a variety of cutting tools and drum designs. This in turn maximizes productivity on the job, reduces operating costs, and delivers precise results whether it is for milling, recycling, or soil stabilizing.
Wirtgen Leveling Technology:
The advanced leveling technology developed by Wirtgen controls heights, depths, and slopes with remarkable precision. The system continuously compares the actual values with the preset target values and compensates for the deviations with proportional control. This ensures the leveling results remain consistent and precise across a wide range of applications including the removal of a roadway, corrective milling, and removal of a defined lateral slope.
Wirtgen Control Technology:
Wirtgen’s intuitive control technology increases operational safety of the machines and enables more flexible and complex machine functionalities that meet the needs of various applications. By using features like intuitive controls and intelligent assistance systems, operators are able to efficiently run the machines and maximize productivity on the job.

Vögele Technologies: Enhancing Paving Performance
Vögele Applications Technology:
Vögele continues to design innovative machinery to meet the needs of the job. By doing so, Vögele has developed several application specific technologies: SprayJet, InLine Pave, and RoadScan to ensure precise results and increased operator efficiency.
The Vögele SUPER 1800-3i SprayJet places a thin asphalt overlay as well as a binder and surface course. This machine can be used as a classical asphalt paver or a spray seal for “hot on hot” paving. During InLine Pave, the binder course and surface course are paved in a single pass, this not only yields a bond between layers but ensures strong interlocking of the layers. RoadScan is a temperature monitoring measurement system that verifies that a constant paving temperature is being maintained.
Vögele Machine Technology:
By creating simple and intuitive machine technology, Vögele provides the opportunity for operators to have full control over both the machine and paving project through ErgoBasic and ErgoPlus 3.
Vögele Grade and Slope Control Technology:
To enhance precision and accuracy in paving, Vögele developed Niveltronic Plus and Niveltronic Basic systems for automated grade and slope control. These have been tailored to Vögele’s SUPER series and provide clearly visible feedback for the operator to maintain consistency across paving.

Hamm Technologies: Revolutionizing Compaction
Hamm Oscillation and Split Drum Roller Technology:
By utilizing oscillation on the Hamm rollers, two eccentric shafts rotate synchronously which causes the drum to perform a rapidly alternating forward-backward rotational movement. This ensures that the drum is in constant contact with the surface while efficiently compacting.
The split drum roller allows for minimized shear stress on asphalt preventing material from being displaced. This in turn reduces surface cracks while providing high compaction quality even on curves or roundabouts when compacting asphalt that is susceptible to displacement.
Hamm Electric and Hybrid Rollers:
Hamm has developed electric rollers that offer quiet, emission-free compaction that are ideal for inner-city construction sites or areas where emissions need to be avoided, and noise must be limited.
Hamm has also developed the power hybrid roller; this allows full compaction power while also protecting the environment. By using a power hybrid roller, the operator will reduce noise emissions thanks to engine power adjustment, reduce CO2 emissions, and reduce fuel consumption by up to 15% at full compaction power.
Hamm Assistance Systems: Smart Compact
The latest innovation in Hamm’s technology is Smart Compact. This revolutionary innovation gathers real-time data on compaction quality and job site conditions. By automatically controlling the compaction process, this will in turn enhance jobsite efficiency, reduce material consumption, and increase precision on compaction surfaces.
By using the track assist feature, operators quickly receive key parameters such as number of double passes, temperature limits, and degree of compaction while looking at initial targets.
HAMMTRONIC:
This electronic machine management system continuously monitors and controls all key machine functions. This includes the automatic adjustment of diesel engine speed to meet specific requirements. HAMMTRONIC also controls start-up and braking while distributing drive torque across the across the drum axle and/or rear wheels in accordance with real-time operating data. This results in high traction and gradeability thanks to anti-slip control, safe driving even on tough terrain, and reduces operating costs and noise emissions all while delivering high-quality homogenous compaction.

Kleemann Technologies: Crushing and Screening Excellence
SPECTIVE Operating Concept:
As the demands placed on modern crushing plants increase and become more complex, so does the need for simple and intuitive technology. As a result, Kleemann has developed SPECTIVE- an intuitive operating concept that simplifies machine operation. SPECTIVE can be broken down by radio remote, SPECTIVE TOUCH, and SEPCTIVE CONNECT.
Drive Concepts for environmentally friendly operation:
Kleemann offers three drive concepts designed for optimized performance and minimized environmental impact.
E-DRIVE is an electric drive system that can be operated electrically or by a diesel engine depending on site conditions.
D-DRIVE is a diesel-direct drive system which can be used when the continuous use of all-electric drive is not possible. This offers lower fuel consumption while maintaining high crushing capacity.
H-DRIVE is a diesel-hydraulic drive specific to screening plants. In this case, hydraulic pumps operate all machine parts as power requirements are significantly lower.
Safety and Accessibility for High Operating Comfort:
On Kleemann machines, all machine components have been made easily accessible for trouble-free simple operation and fast service. All cylinders related to functions and safety are equipped with safety valves (lowering/brake holding valves). Each cylinder stays in its current position in the event of deactivation or failure to protect the operator and the machine. The “Lock & Turn” system provides the highest level of safety during rotor ledge change and releasing bridge. Special keys for service flaps and components guarantee that uncontrolled movements of dangerous components are not possible and the plant or crusher cannot be started when maintenance is being carried out.
