TRB Annual Meeting draws NAPA members to capital

The Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. this week will bring together transportation-related stakeholders from across the sector for committee meetings, networking, and discussions on the intersection of innovation and policy.

Each year in January, NAPA hosts a reception for its members ahead of the TRB gathering in the nation’s capital. This year, members and partners in the road construction space arrived over the weekend to attend workshops ahead of the reception on Sunday night.

Committee meetings kicked off this morning, with NAPA Vice President for Engineering, Research, & Technology Richard Willis chairing the Standing Committee on Flexible Pavement Design & Construction (AKN 12).

Other NAPA staff members serving on committees include NAPA Pavement Engineering & Innovation Director Jean-Paul Fort and Senior Director for Engineering & Technical Services Brett Williams. Fort is a member of the Standing Committee on Construction Quality Assurance (AKJ 13), while Williams will serve on the Standing Committee on Asphalt Pavement Materials (AKN 11).
