Game three of the 2025 World Series tied the record of innings played at the astonishing number of 18. Like the Dodgers and Blue Jays taking the series all the way to game seven, NAPA is in it for the long haul, too. But instead of innings and games, we’re counting lane miles, RAP tons, job lettings, and Political Action Committee (PAC) dollars.

On that last point, 2025 was a record-breaking year – albeit without the notoriety the Dodgers received in their 18-inning win or the fanfare accompanying their series-clenching game seven. So, with this column, our last of 2025, we’re issuing applause for the association, its staff, its supporters, and its members.

It’s been no secret that raising more PAC funds and generating more Political Advocacy Member Council (PAMC) participation are critical to our work on Capitol Hill, which ultimately impacts your business. Member participation is our greatest measure. Please consider joining and/or donating to our political advocacy efforts today!

In addition to advancing legislation and policy that benefit the nation, this work also extends our influence – across the industry, among our coalition partners, and with stakeholders taking note of NAPA’s lead. From work zone safety to energy efficiency, NAPA is leading the way. We have our committed community of members, leaders, and staff to thank.

We’re staying aligned to our strategic plan, rooted in Leadership, Stewardship, and Member Engagement. That’s paying off beyond the record-breaking numbers and showing up in even more ways that matter.

For example, our members are leveraging Congressional recesses to hold more plant and job site tours. These tours are critical to helping lawmakers understand the industry’s positive economic and community impacts – learnings they’ll take with them to the halls of Congress as they hash out the next highway bill. We can’t thank you enough for welcoming lawmakers onto your turf.

With your continued help, we’ll keep the momentum going in 2026 and beyond, scoring run after run. See you in Scottsdale!
