Learn about Europe’s Warm-Mix Asphalt transition Nov. 10

While Warm-Mix Asphalt (WMA) has been in use for more than 25 years, adoption has accelerated recently led by green public procurement, decarbonization targets, limits on stack emissions, health and safety regulations to reduce worker exposure to fumes, and shifting fuel costs.
In Europe, countries like Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, and France are setting targets of up to 100 percent reduced-temperature production by 2026.
The European Asphalt Pavement Association (EAPA) will explore the successes, challenges, and debates from the European transition to WMA in a webinar on Nov. 10 titled Lessons and Insights from Europe’s WMA Transition.
This webinar will share lessons from Europe’s transition — the successes, challenges, and debates — to help others worldwide prepare their own path.
Attendees will hear about:
- Real-world insights: Experiences from leading European countries in adopting WMA.
- Implementation challenges: Key hurdles encountered along the way.
- Lessons learned: Practical takeaways to support a smooth and efficient transition worldwide.
- Q&A session: A chance to interact with speakers, ask questions, and share comments live.
