Two new Road Scholars named

Matthew Kmetz and Mohammad Sadeghi selected as 2026 NAPA Road Scholars
The NAPA Road Scholars fellowship was renewed for all five members of the inaugural class, and Matthew Kmetz and Mohammad Sadeghi were selected as 2026 NAPA Road Scholars.
The program continues a longstanding partnership between the National Center for Asphalt Technology at Auburn University (NCAT) and NAPA to support the next generation of asphalt pavement industry leaders, more than 50 companies and individuals have contributed $3 million to support NCAT graduate students in their academic journeys through the NAPA Road Scholars endowment.
Kmetz and Sadeghi were nominated by their advisors and chosen by the selection committee based on academic achievement, relevant work experience, demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.
