NAPA seeking data for EPD benchmarks

NAPA’s Industry Average Benchmarking Initiative is open through March 15

NAPA needs your help obtaining the data needed to establish asphalt pavement industry benchmarks. There is no cost to participate, and you can submit data for as many plants as you would like.

Learn how to participate in this data collection process.

Remember, benchmarking data will be used for two primary purposes:

According to the fact sheet, the more data received, the more representative industry averages will be, Participation is critical to ensuring that new policies being developed will be as fair and equitable as possible to all companies.

The latest status report shows that we have achieved a new milestone with 400 asphalt plants submitting data. But there is still much more to do – we need at least three companies to submit data in each state to report state-level data. To date, 25 states have yet to achieve that goal.

In addition to striving to achieve at least 3 companies from each state, please note the additional priorities (these are areas where we have not received a lot of data yet):

  • Data from portable plants
  • Plants located in the dry climates of the mountain west and great plains (Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming).
